Terms and Conditions

Effective Last updated

These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") are a legally binding agreement between you ("you" or "your") and Shriyayai Coaching and Consulting Services Pvt Ltd, a company incorporated under the Companies Act, 2013 with its registered office at 80 Feet Rd, Koramangala 1A Block, Bengaluru, Karnataka 560034, India ("All Things Classroom", "Company", "we", "us" or "our"). By accessing or using www.allthingsclassroom.com (the "Website"), enquiring about, booking or taking part in any of our programmes or services, or subscribing to our newsletter, you agree to these Terms.

1. Acceptance and eligibility

By using the Website or our services you confirm that:

  • You have read, understood and agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy;
  • You are at least 18 years of age and competent to contract under the Indian Contract Act, 1872, or you are a parent or legal guardian accepting these Terms on behalf of a learner under 18 who is in your care;
  • Where you act for a school, organisation or institution, you have the authority to bind it;
  • Your use of the Website and our services complies with applicable law.

2. Our services

2.1 What we offer

All Things Classroom designs and delivers learning experiences, creative services and personalised subject learning for students, educators, schools, organisations and individuals. This includes, without limitation, game-based learning sessions, AI literacy programmes, AI professional development for educators, video, content and design services, one-to-one and small-group tutoring in subjects such as mathematics, science and coding, and named programmes for children such as Fun with Math and Fun with Coding (together, the "Services"). The Website also provides free content — a blog, videos and a newsletter.

2.2 Learners and purchasers

Our Services may be used by, and benefit, children. However, all enquiries, bookings, registrations and payments must be made by an adult — a parent, guardian, educator or an authorised representative of a school or organisation — on the learner's behalf. Children do not register or transact on the Website.

2.3 Engagement and changes

The Website is publicly accessible without an account. Programmes and services are agreed in writing — typically by a proposal, booking confirmation or invoice that sets out the scope, schedule, fees and any additional terms. If those documents conflict with these Terms, the specific written agreement prevails for that engagement. We may modify, suspend or discontinue any part of the Website or free content at any time. Changes to an agreed programme are made by agreement with you.

3. Intellectual property

3.1 Ownership

All content on the Website and in our programmes — text, articles, blog posts, graphics, logos, illustrations, images, audio and video, lesson plans, session materials, worksheets, curriculum guides, game designs and software ("Content") — is the property of Shriyayai Coaching and Consulting Services Pvt Ltd or its licensors and is protected by the Copyright Act, 1957, the Trade Marks Act, 1999 and other applicable Indian and international intellectual property laws.

3.2 Limited licence

Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to access and use the Website and its publicly available Content, and any materials provided as part of a programme you have engaged us for, solely for your personal, non-commercial, educational purposes (or, for a school, for the learners covered by its engagement). You may not:

  • Reproduce, distribute, publicly display, sell or create derivative works from any Content without our prior written consent;
  • Use any Content for commercial purposes, including resale, sublicensing or building a competing offering;
  • Remove or alter any copyright, trademark or other proprietary notice;
  • Use automated tools, scrapers or bots to access or extract Content;
  • Record, stream or redistribute a live session without our written permission.

3.3 Trademarks

"All Things Classroom", the All Things Classroom logo and the names of our programmes are trademarks of Shriyayai Coaching and Consulting Services Pvt Ltd. You may not use them without our prior written permission. Other marks referenced on the Website belong to their respective owners.

3.4 Content you provide

If you send us feedback, testimonials, photographs, videos or other material ("User Content"), you grant us a worldwide, royalty-free, non-exclusive licence to use, reproduce, adapt and publish it in connection with our Services and their promotion, unless you tell us in writing that a particular item may not be published. You confirm that you own or are authorised to share the User Content and that it does not infringe anyone's rights. We will never publish a learner's image or name without the written consent of a parent or guardian.

4. Bookings, fees and payment

4.1 Fees

Fees are stated in Indian Rupees (INR) unless otherwise agreed in writing, are exclusive of Goods and Services Tax (GST) unless stated otherwise, and are set out in the proposal, booking confirmation or invoice for your engagement. We may change our published pricing at any time; changes do not affect fees already agreed in writing.

4.2 Payment

Payment is due as stated on the invoice, and in any case before the start of a programme unless we have agreed otherwise. Payments are processed by third-party providers; we do not store card details. By making a payment you confirm that you are authorised to use the payment method.

4.3 Cancellations, rescheduling and refunds

  • Individual and small-group sessions: a session may be rescheduled without charge with at least 24 hours' notice. Sessions cancelled with less notice, or missed, are charged in full unless we agree otherwise.
  • Programmes and workshops: a request to cancel must be made in writing within 7 days of booking and before the programme starts, and will be refunded in full less any non-recoverable costs. After the programme has started, fees are non-refundable except as required by law or agreed in writing.
  • Digital materials: once delivered, digital materials are non-refundable.
  • Cancellation by us: if we cancel a session or programme, we will offer a replacement date or a full refund for the affected part.

Nothing in this section limits any right you have under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019. Refund requests should be sent to hello.allthingsclassroom@gmail.com with your booking details.

4.4 Schools and institutions

A school, district or organisation engaging us on behalf of educators or learners confirms that it has the authority to do so and that its designated users will comply with these Terms. Institutional engagements are non-transferable and may not be extended beyond the agreed scope without our consent.

5. Acceptable use

You agree to use the Website and our Services only for lawful purposes and in a way that does not infringe the rights of others. You must not:

  • Use the Website for any unlawful, fraudulent or malicious purpose, or in breach of the Information Technology Act, 2000 and the rules made under it;
  • Attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Website or any connected system;
  • Send unsolicited commercial communications or spam through, or by reference to, the Website;
  • Post or transmit content that is defamatory, obscene, threatening, harassing, hateful or otherwise objectionable, or that is harmful to children;
  • Impersonate any person or misrepresent your affiliation with any person or organisation;
  • Introduce viruses, malware or other harmful code;
  • Use robots, spiders, crawlers or other automated means to access the Website without our written permission;
  • Reverse engineer, decompile or disassemble any software on the Website;
  • Behave in a live session in a way that is disruptive, abusive or unsafe for other learners or the educator.

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Website or a programme for a breach of this section, without liability. Where a learner's conduct makes it impossible to continue a programme safely, we will discuss the matter with the parent, guardian or school before taking any such step.

6. Children and safeguarding

Under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 a child is any person under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal data directly from children, and we obtain the verifiable consent of a parent or guardian before processing a child's data for a programme. We do not track children's behaviour or serve advertising to them. Our sessions with children are conducted by trained educators, and a parent, guardian or school representative may observe any session on request. Our full approach to children's data is set out in our Privacy Policy. If you believe a child has provided personal data to us without consent, contact hello.allthingsclassroom@gmail.com and we will delete it promptly.

7. Third-party links and services

The Website links to, and embeds content from, third-party services that we do not control, including YouTube and Google Drive (Google), Instagram (Meta Platforms), LinkedIn, Tally (our enquiry form) and beehiiv (our newsletter). These are provided for convenience. Your use of them is governed by their own terms and privacy policies, and we are not responsible for their content, practices or availability.

8. Disclaimers

8.1 Website and content

THE WEBSITE AND ITS FREE CONTENT ARE PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS. TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE AND NON-INFRINGEMENT, IN RESPECT OF THE WEBSITE AND ITS FREE CONTENT. Nothing in these Terms excludes any warranty or right that cannot be excluded under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019 or other applicable law.

8.2 Educational content

Blog posts, videos and other educational content on the Website are for general information and educational purposes. They are not professional advice for any particular learner, school or system, and we do not warrant that they are complete, current or suitable for every purpose or jurisdiction. Learning outcomes depend on many factors; while we deliver every programme with care and skill, we do not guarantee specific results, grades or admissions.

8.3 Availability

We do not warrant that the Website will be uninterrupted, error-free or free of harmful components, and we may carry out maintenance that temporarily interrupts access. Online sessions depend on third-party video platforms and on your own connection; we will reschedule a session that fails for reasons within our control.

9. Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, SHRIYAYAI COACHING AND CONSULTING SERVICES PVT LTD, ITS DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, EDUCATORS, CONTRACTORS AND SERVICE PROVIDERS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA OR GOODWILL, ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH YOUR USE OF, OR INABILITY TO USE, THE WEBSITE OR THE SERVICES.

OUR TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ALL CLAIMS ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THESE TERMS OR THE SERVICES SHALL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (i) INR 5,000 OR (ii) THE TOTAL FEES PAID BY YOU TO US IN THE 12 MONTHS IMMEDIATELY PRECEDING THE CLAIM.

Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for any liability that cannot be limited or excluded under Indian law.

10. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Shriyayai Coaching and Consulting Services Pvt Ltd and its directors, employees, educators and agents from any claims, losses, liabilities, costs and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of your breach of these Terms, your violation of any law or of a third party's rights, or any User Content you provide.

11. Governing law and dispute resolution

11.1 Governing law

These Terms, and any dispute arising out of or relating to them or to your use of the Website or the Services, are governed by the laws of India.

11.2 Amicable resolution first

If a dispute arises, please write to our Grievance Officer at hello.allthingsclassroom@gmail.com. We will try to resolve it with you in good faith within 30 days.

11.3 Arbitration

Any dispute that cannot be resolved in that way shall be referred to and finally resolved by arbitration under the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996, by a sole arbitrator appointed by mutual agreement (or, failing agreement within 30 days, as provided under that Act). The seat and venue of arbitration shall be Bengaluru, Karnataka, and the language of arbitration shall be English. Nothing in this section prevents either party from seeking urgent injunctive or interim relief from a court, or prevents you from exercising any right under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019, including before a consumer commission.

11.4 Jurisdiction

Subject to section 11.3, the courts at Bengaluru, Karnataka shall have exclusive jurisdiction.

13. Electronic communications

By using the Website or giving us your email address or telephone number, you agree that we may communicate with you electronically, including about your booking and, where you have consented, our newsletter and updates. Electronic communications satisfy any legal requirement that a communication be in writing. You can opt out of marketing at any time using the unsubscribe link in any email or by contacting us.

14. Changes to these Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. We will give notice of material changes by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, by email or a notice on the Website. Continued use of the Website or the Services after a change means you accept the updated Terms. Changes do not affect a programme already agreed in writing unless you agree to them.

15. General

  • Severability: if any provision of these Terms is held invalid or unenforceable, it will be modified to the minimum extent necessary or severed, and the remaining provisions will continue in effect.
  • Waiver: our failure to enforce any provision is not a waiver of our right to do so later.
  • Assignment: you may not assign these Terms without our written consent. We may assign them to a successor to our business.
  • Force majeure: neither party is liable for delay or failure caused by events beyond its reasonable control, including illness, internet or power failure, natural disaster or government action; affected sessions will be rescheduled.
  • Entire agreement: these Terms, our Privacy Policy and the written agreement for your engagement are the entire agreement between you and us about the Website and the Services.
